iSIAL Membership and ESTC Courses
The European Sialendoscopy Training Center (ESTC) is the historical training center of the International Sialendoscopy Society (iSIAL). iSIAL Members benefit from special conditions for courses and congresses around the world. You can become and iSIAL Member either by registering an ESTC course (the first year iSIAL Membership is offered), or by registering below.
Due to the COVID-19/actual situation, the course initially planned in March is cancelled.
32nd International Sialendoscopy Course – Part 1
From Mar 17, 2021 until Mar 18, 2021
The First Part is designed to introduce sialendoscopy to newcomers and to provide key concepts.
One whole day intensive hand’s-on is the central element of this part, as the participant needs to be familiar with the sialendoscope, the technique of basket retrieval, the laser fragmentation of stones, and the high pressure balloon dilatation of strictures. Sialendoscopy being a minimal invasive technique, the handling of the papilla is probably the most challenging difficulty: The participant will receive a step by step and rigorous training on fresh pig heads, as well as a surgical training for combined techniques.
Finally, the decisional tree will be thoughtfully discussed and the different techniques demonstrated to participants in order to demonstrate the importance of sialendoscopy as a highly sensitive and specific diagnostic but also interventional tool.

Cancellation Policy
- More than 4 months prior to the course, 100% refund
- Between 4 months and 2 months prior to the course, 25% cancellation fees
- Less than 2 months prior to the course, 50% cancellation fees
- Less than 15 days prior of course, no refund
Material
Material needed for the course (white coats, gloves, masks and surgical equipment) will be provided at the University Medical Center.
